I give, good for you, I don’t care, get off my site, and keep your opinions to yourself. Unless of course it’s a question that needs answering that I haven’t already answered or if by some magical chance that my info is wrong and needs correcting. But its not, So nevermind.
Ok, so to start off, finally, I’m first going to talk about zits, pimples, acne, whatever ya wanna call it. Here is the definition for those of you who don’t know. (even though…… I think its pretty universal..) but some people aren’t the brightest bulbs so, here it is.

• Acne: a disorder of the skin caused by inflammation of skin glands and hair follicles and marked by pimples especially on the face.

• Pimple: a small swelling of the skin often containing pus.

• THE CAUSE OF ACNE: well, I guess the definition kinda pointed that out already. But let’s put it in simpler terms that we can understand... The cause of acne is most often different for everyone. It can be genetic, or caused by too much stress, or by the spreading of bacteria, or the way you eat, improper cleansing, or the use of wrong products with harmful ingredients.

But most often acne is caused because, when a new hair follicle wants to come out it normally produces oil to keep your skin soft and moisturized, but all good things must come to an end, the oil combines with the dead cells on your skin and blocks further oil from coming out, meanwhile the sebaceous gland on the bottom of the follicle still makes oil, but because it cant come out it just stays there and continues producing until eventually it builds up and attracts so much bacteria that it becomes a nasty little pimple that everyone loves to hate.

Now, here’s the danger in explaining acne so simply, when most people read the above explanation they think, well, uh, if the reason I have acne is just cause a bunch a dumb ol’ dead skin cells it should be pretty easy to clear it up all I gotta do Is get rid of the dead cells! But- that most often is not the case. You see, there are many things that contribute to acne its not just the dead cells, while that is what starts the acne, there’s always bacteria that spread it and make it much, much more miserably worse. So, you might think that you can just clean it all off a bunch a times by scrubbing really hard and loosening up your clogged pores, and getting rid of the bacteria, but harsh scrubbing is just plain unkind to your poor skin and it doesn’t even help! It just spreads and worsens the condition by like a jillion times.
Another thing that worsens acne is when people pop their zits. The reason popping is so terrible is first of all because we ALWAYS and I mean always, have bacteria on our fingers. Even if we just wash our hands the bacteria remains and when we pop the zit the bacteria from our fingers spreads to the zit, and THEN, something really sick happens. We get the bacteria from the popped zit on our fingers and then we go pop another zit and that bacterium goes from one to another and so on and so forth and a few days later we have worse acne than ever before. Pretty gross right, oh and then the worst part is when we pop, we don’t even get all the dang gunk out! Like half comes out and half goes back in so after all that work of popping the only result is a massive spread of bacteria and a worsened case of ugly. And, yes its hard not to pop those dreadful things but just don’t do it. If you must, go to an esthetician and have them give you a facial where they use a special tool that gets all the pus out and doesn’t spread the bacteria.

7 Skin Care Tips for Changing Seasons

Does your skin feel tight, dry and irritated with the cold weather change?

Low humidity can cause feelings of extreme dryness, itchiness and irritation for your skin. This can lead to inflammation and conditions such as rashes and eczema.

7 TIPS that can help:

  1. CLEANSE

Put away your harsh cleansers and switch to a gentle cleanser that's safe for even the most sensitive skin. Don't over-cleanse.

  2. TONE

Instead of using drying alcohol based astringents choose a moisturizing toner.

Your skin needs to be soothed and balanced, not dried out further by an astringent.

  3. MOISTURIZE and CONDITION

Your skin is itchy because the dry air is sucking the moisture from the top layer of your skin. Apply extra moisturizer until you feel relief. Never be afraid of using pure oils on your face. Some good choices are Almond, Jojoba, Grapeseed, Hazlenut, Rosehip Seed. These oils will not clog your pores, they simply condition and feed your skin with much needed nutrients to keep it functioning properly. They also help prevent moisture evaporation from your skin. Add essential oils to target specific areas of concern.

  4. EXFOLIATE

Exfoliate your skin twice a week to remove dead skin cells. This will help your skin to absorb the nourishing oils you apply. Use a gentle exfoliating agent like Lactic Acid to avoid unnecessary irritation. Avoid harsh scrubs on your face, which will irritate and damage your skin more.

  5. AVOID

Avoid taking very hot baths and showers or using hot water to wash your face. This can lead to extreme dryness and itchiness. After bathing, pat skin dry and apply a soothing and healing lotion containing MSM and Aloe Vera onto skin to moisturize, heal and protect. Avoid products containing artificial colors and fragrances which can cause rash itchy skin.

  6. HYDRATE

Make sure you get your daily minimum amount of water (the general rule is ½ your body weight in ounces. If you weigh 150 pounds, you would drink 75 oz. of water per day.)

  7. SUNSCREEN

Always use a safe sunscreen- in every season, outdoors or indoors. Even on a cloudy day and behind windows, the sun's rays can damage and age your skin.

When snow skiing use sunscreen containing SPF 15 or higher(try Tinted Sunblock); snow reflects 80% of sun's rays.

High Fructose Corn Syrup vs Artificial Sweeteners

SUBJECTS- The impact of environmental toxins, such as refined sugars like High fructose Corn Syrup, and artificial sweeteners .

HFCS - CAUSES-Diabetes, Obesity, artificial carbohydrates. The HFCS affects Leptin, a hormone which helps the body control your appetite.
It effects your Grylin-the hormone which lets you know when it’s time to eat. HFCS foods do not turn off this hormone, so you stay hungry.
Processed, packaged and empty food-Fake Food- also contain HFCS which leave your cells still calling for nutrition. You have to snack all the time and even after enormous servings we’re still hungry,.
HFCS is a man made toxin used to enhance the shelf life of products/aka preservative, so most soft drinks, processed foods, canned foods have it. The average American consumes about 12 teaspoons of HFCS every day. (Oct. 2009) (Mountain Dew drinkers get that much in every bottle). WOW.
This is about 10% of a person’s caloric intake. Another reason you can’t loose weight is that it acts as a toxin which inhibits the liver from doing a good job, as well as this sets up conditions for anaerobic bacteria and viruses, and cancer cells, to proliferate.
HFCS Causes PH to lower, making the body acidic, which is bad bad bad. HCFS triggers weight gain as it is processed and unnatural, making it hard for it to enhance normal body function. Some people eat little and are still obese as a result.
Toxic preservatives are sometimes listed on the label, however if it’s a micro-preservative it’s not listed on the label.
We can and must find more organic food sources.
ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS- Sucrolose/AKA splenda/ nutrisweet and other fake sweeteners are extremely bad too. We need to detox, and use the oils below to help our body.
Artificial sweeteners cause an unhealthy chemical “diet” high:
1. Raises blood pressure causing your uric acid to rise sometimes up to 32%. If someone you know has high blood pressure-they need to do the Liver Cleanse as well as use other oils.
2. Keeps you from breaking down fats found in make-up, household care products, shampoos, etc., and ages our liver much more quickly. It can cause you to have brain fog. It makes your skin sag (maiallard). How many years have you been drinking diet sodas? It de sensitizes the Pancreas-the betafils won’t respond correctly eventually leading to diabetes.
3. Heart health and nutrition newsletter-reported at a recent seminar in Texas-(Dr. Jean Monroe, MD from Great Britain-) many countries have Mercury in diet sweetener- We must avoid Mercury.
4. Many makeup companies have mercury in their products without telling. “Environmental Health” magazine discussed the finding of Mercury in their tests- average amount of mercury in each person in the US-perhaps 29 Micrograms a day-higher than any allowable levels in our foods! This is extremely dangerous to our brain cells- Is this why so many children are developing Autism? Alzheimer’s?
5. Independent testing of products found 1 in 3 products containing mercury. Examples -bar-be-que sauces, chocolate syrup,
6. Mercury from any source causes terrible challenges in the body.

Dr. Raymond Peak, Exposes the fact that there are deceptive “Environmental” mimickers, that actually contain Hydro-carbons, dioxins, soot, and most of the petrol chemicals, which act as an Estrogen as they break down in the body.
As woman, we only need a very small amount of Estrogen, a lot of progesterone. It’s very potent and acts as a cellular stimulator-like a fertilizer. How can we minimize our exposure to these?
The toxic chemicals that we are exposed to every day have a negative effect on our PH. This causes inflammation in our body. HFCS is very acidic. If you are Diabetic this is inflammatory-many have heart disease, high blood pressure, sugars are acidic the artificial sugars are very acidic. How many carb’s do we need?
AVOID carbs with HFCS in them. Decide to have smoother, healthier, whole grain carbs balanced throughout the day which will help reduce inflammation and keep from the spike of insulin by our Pancreas.
Even our stress levels and finances will impact our bodies.
Our cardiovascular system: (tubes and pipes) we obviously want it clean, not gunky or sick. It gets loaded with different particles (calcium) with normal diet nowadays, getting it out of balance, which leads to hardening of the arteries. The Endocrine system will elevate cortisol-inflammatory response which causes loss of energy. Chronic fatigue syndrome can be a result. Check your pH level, and if you are exhausted you probably have acid pH. Liver cleanse every day!

Are you on “Synthroid”? This will give you artificially thyroid hormone but it won’t work correctly, causing you to gain weight. It also pulls the minerals from the bone and could cause plaque in the arteries which leads to heart problems.

Last weekend, Dana taught us how and when to use the oils to help our bodies deal with what the world is pushing to us.
In the morning, after your shower, apply Eucalyptus over the chest (over the open pores-while your skin is still warm). You can also use Breathe blend which opens up the alveolae in your lungs. Then put a drop of Chiro Touch on the bottoms of your feet.

 Diffuse Lemon oil to strengthen your left brain function. Use Orange oil other days for Right Brain Function.

 Liver Cleanse every day.
 You must do it every day because you are exposed to toxins every day. Many offices have sick building syndrome. Take Lemon to work and apply it to the air filters. Virus’ are at their lowest activity in the morning so do the lick-trick with the "Spice for Life" on the back of your hand or even use it on your toothbrush

 Noontime- apply single oils at your discretion. Rotate by putting a drop on your pulse-behind your knee, on the neck or wrists. Or add 4-5 drops of Marjoram, Basil, Thyme or Oregano to a TBLSP of good Olive oil-the more expensive the better oil.
 Best not to use processed dressings. Use fresh salad dressing-healing dressings. Any time you wash your hands add 1-2 drops of Lemon oil to the palm of your hand to kill germs rather than using antibacterial stuff. That just kills the good germs that you want to help protect you.
 Use Guardian as the Fungus Buster-you can do the “lick-trick” again or just drop it on your tongue. If you have a challenge with Candida, use the Guardian 3x per day.

 After 4pm is the best time to use the Defence+ as the bacteria are napping. Once home use the seasonal oils. Use the "Spice for Life" in a tea in some honey. 5-10 drops of Lavender, Geranium or both mixed in your bath salts and soak in the tub to relax and destocks. Have a variety of oils at your bedside. You can repeat the Liver Cleanse at the end of the day. Between 2-4am is when the liver does a lot of its work.

 Disinfect -Use Lemon, Rosemary and Spice For Life in a spritzer on surfaces or in the air. 10 drops of oil with pure water. Diffuse or mist Ravensara- 10 drops per gallon for household cleaner.

 Digestive system- Make a tea with 2 drops of Peppermint or just rub Di-gest on your tummy to help with indigestion. To calm the nerves use Quiet Scent or Peppermint. Use Frankincense on the heart charka for depression.

 Circulatory system-stimulate the lymph-move the sludge out-
 Bay Laurel on the feet, groin, arm pits, behind the knees. Geranium, Lemongrass and Cypress are also good for the lymphatic system.
 Joint pain and other -Physical Touch, Lemongrass neat.

 This is solid information working on many different systems at once. Think about how we are detoxifying different systems in our body. The oils are Anti-Inflammatory for all the systems. They are anti-spasmodic which can help release the spasms. Many are anti-allergenic. Many are anti-biotic, anti fungal and several are even analgesic-Peppermint for a headache for example. They can help us to create a healing environment.

 In the US, many food processing plants producing HFCS are using the Lye process, which causing mercury to be a part of our food. Dr. Judi says she highly doubts that this information is given credence by the medical profession.
